Seems quite weird to see so many news on TV that paint the world as full of problems, which it is of course, and at the same time don´t give any good news apart from football, is this the reason football succeded so much?

Seems to me I could not live without finding those little horrible yet great places that have great food but really bad air conditioning.

I am an open guy, willing to jump from tool to tool and adapt, to prove it I use on a regular basis quite a lot of different platforms and software for my real work, from XSI, Massive, RealFlow, Endorphin, Houdini, Shake, Nuke, AfterFX, Photoshop, etc... but something I can't stand is the philosophy behind how Maya's tools operate.

Is it just me? May be, Will I carry on using it? as far as I need, Does my stress level grow every time I do? well, ask my wife.

Let's face it, SideFX Houdini is great piece of software and those 3D artists are quite proud of themselves. Nothing wrong with that but let's not make it a religion.

It is such an eclectic thing and these characters are so weird that of course they have their own trademark freak factor always, no matter what, and we invariably love them for that because in reality we would love to be like that. Clever and so uncool that they are the most cool thing ever.

No matter what we have invested so much time and effort the whole thing has become a matter of irrational believe and gets close to religion.
