I guess the recession has a significant effect on how things are done.

Truly Avatar's name for the planet sounds to me reminiscent of the box they have just opened, Pandora's box and I can see studio executives with great ideas to refurbish any movie that has done any money in stereo... sad.

Seems to me helicopter shots are kind of the black beast given that they are so scary and risky, you know, a single engine helicopter flying in between skyscrapers is not my idea of safety and precaution, which leads us to the point in which directors kind of send their directors of photography to do the dirty job.

Seems to me many decisions are sometimes postponed so we all can avoid to commit and solve the problem, which is very good.
